Project Description
I was asked to design a skyscraper for this design studio course to house various artists and perform as a space for producing and displaying their artworks. This brought in the idea of the relationship between public and private space. I created a space that uniquely displays this relationship using a central communal-like core. Various modular spaces specific to the program would then uniquely connect with that central core. To achieve this outcome, Grasshopper became a handy tool that would allow me to manipulate these modulars’ interconnections with this central core. These are the massing itterations I produced.
